Epstein Hitting
A proven system of hitting dating back to one of the greatest hitters of all time, Ted Williams. Ted Williams managed Mike Epstein, a former Major League Champion for the A's in 1972 and they spent much time together talking hitting. Mike Epstein was the only person to be certified by Ted Williams. Through their discussions, they sought to find what made the best hitters in baseball great. Mike Epstein then coined the term rotational hitting and has become the number one technique used to hit at the highest levels of baseball. The Epstein and rotational hitting system consists of video analysis, professional drills, mindsets to improve your game consistently, and much more. These beliefs are being carried on through Jake Epstein and also, Epstein certified instructors around the world.

Lead Instructor Brett Balkan's testimony to Epstein Hitting
As a player Brett Balkan hit .260 in his first season at San Diego Mesa College. After a discussion with one of Brett's teammates, the Epstein Hitting system was introduced. Brett flew to Colorado to work six, one hour sessions in three days with Jake Epstein. While embracing the professional techniques and mindsets through video analysis, Brett took off and hit .384 the following season winning a league batting title, first team All-American, first team All-Conference honors, including a three state region gold glove (California, Washington, Oregon). He earned a division 1 scholarship to Cal State University, Northridge in the Big West Conference finishing his senior year as an All-Big West shortstop.
